We are excited to bring the American Seed Trade Association’s 129th Annual Convention to Washington, D.C., our Nation’s Capital. We are putting together a powerful program with top-level elected and government officials, as well as legislative and policy experts to apprise us of the direction they see American agriculture policy moving in the future. The timing of this convention is critical to the success and continued innovation of the seed industry.

The theme of this year’s convention is “Make Your Voice Heard.” In addition to the meetings and sessions associated with the Annual Convention, we are scheduling a day of meetings on Capitol Hill for you to let your elected Congressmen and Senators know the story of the American seed industry from the perspective of a constituent and an industry expert. ASTA will guide you through the process, so all you need to do is meet with your elected official and share a little bit of information about you and your company. This is your opportunity to actively participate in the political process and proudly represent the seed industry as you forge relationships that will serve you well for your own company’s future.

We have an exciting program planned for spouses/guests and families, which will include visits to the U.S. Capitol, many national monuments, Mt. Vernon, and more. The city has something for everyone, whether you’re interested in politics, museums, theatre, or history, you won’t be disappointed. We hope you will make your voice heard and join us in Washington, D.C.
