TPC San Antonio Canyons Course

Situated inside the 2,800 rolling acres of the Cibolo Canyons and at the base of the beautiful Texas Hill Country, golfers will have access to both the AT&T Canyons Course, designed by Pete Dye and PGA TOUR Player Consultant Bruce Lietzke, and the AT&T Oaks Course designed by Greg Norman and PGA TOUR Player Consultant Sergio Garcia. Due to the differing topography, the Dye and Norman courses will complement one another with each having a unique look, feel and playing experience for resort guests. Register on page 14. A continental breakfast and buffet lunch are included.

Tour the grounds of JW Marriott on your fi rst morning in Texas! The Gary Arthur Memorial 5K Fun Run/Walk is an easy-going, fun and great way to enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings while networking and getting some exercise! This event is held in honor of the late Gary Arthur, ASTA’s former 2007 fi rst vice chairman of the Board, who often participated in the 5K Fun Run with his family during his many years of attendance at the ASTA Annual Convention.

All participants receive a T-shirt and complimentary continental breakfast. Prizes are awarded for the best times. The Fun Run leaves from the legacy garden, just outside the Sunday House at the JW Marriott, where a healthy continental buffet will be provided both before and after the event. Lucky for you, the National Shooting Complex of the National Skeet Shooting Association of America is just minutes from our host hotel for the 127th Annual Convention, the JWMarriott. Located along the edge of the beautiful Texas Hill Country, the National Shooting Complex may appear to be nothing more than 671 acres of peaceful rolling hills and picturesque countryside, but to an ever increasing number of fi rearms enthusiasts through-out the United States and beyond, this multi-million dollar complex has become recognized as one of the most complete sport shooting facilities in the world, fully equipped and ready to facilitate any size event.

Your day of fun with friends and colleagues serves more than your itchy trigger fi nger, however. It is also a meaningful day of support and leadership, as proceeds from this event benefi t the First the Seed Foundation, which works to inform today’s consumers and tomorrow’s workforce about the importance of the seed industry.
